Who is this dog for?

Rebecca & Matthew

Why do you want a Pembroke?
My parents had a corgi when I was in elementary school. This dog (named Jake) was my best friend growing up; we would go for walks, play outside together, and I would teach him new tricks. He would even let me vacuum is fur with the brush attachment. My parents and myself have had other dogs but Jake has always stood out. He was a gentle, fun, and loving dog, especially when my little brother was born. He loved to sleep in the nursery and keep watch. I loved when we went on camping trips as a family because Jake would always come with us. Some of my favorite memories are exploring the Canadian wilderness with him and my older siblings.
Matthew and myself just started renting a house from his sister and have been talking about adopting an adult dog. I had such a great experience with Jake plus Corgis are adorable so we are more than willing to open our home to one.
