Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for?	The two of us.
Why do you want a Pembroke?	We got our current corgi puppy a little over a year ago and are so in love with him. We love his energy level and sassiness. We can tolerate his stubbornness and admire how smart he is. We have been talking about getting him a brother or sister ever since we brought him home.
Activities planned with Pembroke:	We currently go on daily walks and weekly hikes with our corgi. He has even been kayaking a couple of times. He also comes with us camping and to the beach, or to visit nearby relatives. So of course, our new Pembroke would join as well, as long as he/she is able.
Aware that Pembrokes are busy, noisy dogs?	Yes

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:	Scolding and then redirecting them to a desirable behavior. For example, if they are chewing on a shoe, take the shoe away, firmly say "No", then give them a toy to chew on.
Discipline:	We took a puppy training class and learned to verbally scold and redirect a dog. Also using bitter apple spray on things they aren't supposed to chew. Stop playing with them if they bite. Don't give them attention when they jump.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:	At our home, inside with us or supervised outside in our fenced in back yard, weather permitting.

Play & exercise:	We have a fenced in back yard where we like to play frisbee everyday with our current corgi. We also go on daily walks and weekly hikes.
