Who is this dog for?

My fiance and I.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We have always wanted a corgi. My sister has one and her corgi is a big goof ball. My aunt also owns one. I believe the corgi breed to be very smart and playful. The corgi size is just perfect. Even though we have not owned one personally I have been around them a lot and I just love the personality of the breed. They are pretty well a big dog in a little body.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Plenty of walks and park visits. The dog would go with us everywhere we went. My fiance stays at home so the dog would hang with her till I get home from work. My younger sisters are always over so though we don't have children we still have that child energy around for the dog to run and play with them as well.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Use a stern voice stating no. Using hand motions as well such as pointing in area or holding object that was involved.

Discipline:
I always use a stern voice or spray bottle with water. Depending on what has happened, i will use hand motions showing what is bad while keeping my voice stern.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
With us. They would spend all day with my fiance till I get home at 4. Weekends I am off so I would be home too. We rarely leave home to go anywhere far. So wether it's walks, the park, or a drive in town the dog will always be with us.
