Who is this dog for?

Myself and my family. Looking to surprise them. I am 21, and this would be for myself, my parents, and my 14 year old brother.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have always loved this breed and many of my friends own corgis. They have talked to me about the ups and downs of corgis, and I feel that my family is ready for one.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I often go to the dog park with my dog now, we love to play! I would also make sure he is well trained and spoiled, of course.

Yes

Yes

Vet contact info:

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Time-outs and using a negative voice tone.

Discipline:
At first as a puppy, probably crate training, but ending that quickly because I’m personally not a fan of crates as discipline. If the puppy is misbehaving for attention, I would stop giving it that attention. This worked when training my current dog.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
At home, but being let outside to play frequently.

Where would dog eat?
Next to our kitchen we have bowls of food and water set up for our other dog, so probably near there.

Where would dog sleep:
We have big fluffy ped beds throughout the house. Our current dog likes to sleep on the one in my parents room, but the corgi would be welcome to sleep anywhere 🙂

Play & exercise:
