Myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I've grown up around a very close family friend who would only adopt Corgi's. I have loved each of their two Corgi's. They have always been the cutest of all dog breeds to myself. I love their size and that they would be able to sit on my lap without crushing me. I like that they can be both lazy bums and endless balls of energy on some days. They all look so gorgeous and have the cutest little smiles on their faces. I've done some research on their breed, mostly that they are easy to train and very intelligent

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Runs/Walks, Playing catch, let it sleep in my bed when my girlfriend isn't around(she doesn't want a dog in bed) The usual dog like things(talking to it expecting a response, belly rubs, etc.)

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
If I catch them in the act I would probably use my voice to shock them and take a stern posture and "aggressive" voice to show that it is a bad behavior. If I find it later I would grab the chewed up tissue or trash can and show it to the dog asking them who did this? I would try to teach him the difference between good and bad behaviors by rewarding positive things to teach him good behaviors, and by punishing him for the bad ones.

Discipline:
Time-Outs
Scoldings
Taking toys away
