Why do you want a Pembroke?
I would like to adopt a corgi because it is a breed that has been recommended as fitting with my wants when it comes to an animal companion. I want a happy and cuddly dog who loves to play but won't wear me out. I want a good family dog. My experiences with corgis have been that they are wonderful companion dogs who love to be with their people and are good with kids. They are bouncy little beans who have energy but not have such extreme exercise needs that I will be unable to meet.

Walks, fetch, tug, snuggles, errands, social visits

Vet contact info:

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Gentle correction and encouragement for a positive, replacement behavior. Potentially a stern "no" if required and Corgi is caught in the act.

Discipline:
I prefer positive reinforcement to discipline. If the dog would be caught in the act (such as I caught them peeing in the carpet or chewing on a rug) I would interrupt it and redirect the behavior (bring them outside to finish peeing, remind them where the toys are).

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
With me.
