Why do you want a Pembroke?
Corgis have the absolute best personalities and fun loving approach to life. Our current corgi is such a pleasure to be around and interact with. We have raised him since he was a puppy and he has developed into an owners delight. Puppyhood required a lot of attention and patience, they require a lot of attention and constant activity. We have an active household and can properly raise a corgi

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We currently take Joey on outdoor walks on a leash on our culdesac and surrounding neighborhood, as well as our local parks that have walking trails. We also love to take Joey onto our boat, which keeps him active and social. In the winter, we are playing constantly with him and he absolutely loves playing in the snow. We are very careful with feeding since the breed can have a tendency to over eat.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:

Discipline:
Positive reinforcement, consistency, and patience

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
In the summer time during the day, we are typically outdoors, either on our boat, walking our dogs, or enjoying the fresh air. At night time, they will always be sleeping indoors in our home. In the winter time, we do not spend the same amount of time outdoors as we do in the summer, but do spend time exercising outdoors when the weather permits.

House dog

Where would dog eat?
We feed our dogs in our living room on a bidaily, consistent time basis. We currently feed in our corgi in a Wobbler, as it allows for brain activity and slower eating habits

Where would dog sleep:
Will crate train initially, but will eventually be allowed to sleep in our bedroom

Play & exercise:
With having another corgi in the house, we provide ample daily time for play and exercise. We allow our dogs to play together on their own, as well as entice them to play throughout the day. We often are playing fetch in our house and backyard, as well as playing tug with toys. Corgis do best when they have an activity to do.
