Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: |
I would speak to it in a stern voice, show it what it did wrong and then place it in its kennel for a reasonable amount of time.
Discipline: |
I kennel train so that if they make a mistake they will have a time out of sorts. I also use a different voice when disciplining than I do when commending or playing with the dog.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time: |
The Pembroke would spend its time in the same room as me when I am home. When I first get the dog it will be in a kennel when I am not home just until I can ensure that it is house broken and will not chew anything up. After I feel comfortable with it’s training, it will be free to roam the apartment when I am not home.
