Who is this dog for?

Myself and my partner, Ryan Japs.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I love the personality types that the breed offers! The typical size of a corgi also suits my apartment lifestyle better than a larger breed. My partner has dog-sitted for a couple with corgis, and he fell in love with their companion.

I have personally lived with dogs my whole life, so they've always been apart of my life. Now that I have my own stable living situation/place, I'm looking for a dog to build my family!

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Lots of walks in the park, hanging out on pet-friendly patios, some snuggle time on the couch, and some tug-of-war play time!

The longest the Pembroke would be alone (kenneled depending on behavior/training) would be for 5-6 hours. My partner finishes work around 1pm every day, and would take the Pembroke out for a walk upon arriving home.

Where would dog eat?
Our corgi would eat at our apartment, in our kitchen/dining area.

Where would dog sleep:
Our corgi would sleep (kennel if behavior needs training, no kennel if comfortable on its own) in our bedroom or living room.

Play & exercise:
We live right next to a park, have access to a fenced yard, and can offer in-apartment toys for play time and walks-a-plenty!

How will you exercise your dog?
Both on leash and restrained to the yard
