Who is this dog for? |

Why do you want a Pembroke? |
What is there not to love about corgis? From their cute stubby legs and big body, to their outgoing but yet independent personalities. We have done our research on the breed, and the corgi’s lifestyle is a perfect fit for ours. Elizabeth has always loved the idea of having a corgi being her favorite breed since she was little. She is also really great with animals in general. With our somewhat different schedules there would always be someone to be with the corgi and take care of him/her.
Activities planned with Pembroke: |
Whatever fits our corgi’s personality. If he/she needs lots of walks and play time, it will be provided to him/her. And when he/she just wants to relax and be loved, he/she will get a lot of attention. We are willing to adapt and give whatever level of physical activity our corgi needs.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: |
Positive and negative reinforcement. Treats are given for good behavior, and to show what the dog has done wrong to correct the situation.
Discipline: |
Positive and negative reinforcement, no punishment. Punishment will increase bad behavior instead of helping the dog to learn and to become better.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time: |
In the company of Elizabeth or myself.
