Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for?	The two of us. We live in the country on a 17 acre farmette outside of Pecatonica Illinois. It is mostly wooded and prairie. We currently have an aged WP Corgi (our second) and an older Shelty. Our Corgi has terminal lymphoma so we are beginning to look for another Corgi. We have both recently retired and enjoy walks around the property with the dogs that seems to keep us all in relatively good shape.
Why do you want a Pembroke?	We have had two Corgis so far and greatly enjoy their companionship, intelligence and curiosity. They seem to learn their lessons well and are relatively easy to train. Their coat is relatively easy to maintain for county living, and they are about the cutest dog as a puppy and as an adult. Love those ears.
Activities planned with Pembroke:	Walks around the 17 acres on groomed trails and yard romps. Evening companion in the home and in off hours when not with us outdoors. Comfort dog for our son.
