I am not in a rush to adopt. I am more concerned about finding a dog that is a perfect match for me. Ideally, I would like to adopt after the new year (1/2019) but I figured it would be a good idea to submit an application in advance. I am happy to speak more with someone about anything on my application. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I love how versatile the Corgi is. They are both adorable and hardy, and extremely affectionate. I want a companion who is up for a good adventure and who loves its people, and Corgis fit the bill. I also appreciate that they are a typically healthy breed while acknowledging that common ailments such as hip dysplasia can occur as the dog becomes older.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Walks on leash, local dog park off leash once dog is acclimated, perhaps swimming and boating if the opportunity arose. Basic obedience classes would be excellent.
