Who is this dog for?

Myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I grew up with family members that had two Pembroke Welsh Corgis. They have been my favorite dog ever since. Every time I see one, I get very excited and happy. I love their personalities and the way they look. I have done a ton of research on them.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I live next door to a mile long track and by many open fields. I also live next door to a dog park which I could see us using frequently.

Vet contact info:

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Calmly, but assertively. I believe if the dog hears the word "no" enough, he will realize that it is not okay. I am not violent towards animals, nor would I ever be. Just like humans, dogs make mistakes.

Discipline:
I have learned with my previous dog that using "no" a lot works very well. I have friends that are dog trainers and plan to take him to courses to train if he is not well disciplined.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Both outside and on walks. I would spend majority of my day with him. I would like to see how he would interact with other dogs, but understand if he is not friendly with other dogs.
