Who is this dog for?

Our family (mom, dad and our daughter)

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We have done quite a bit of research and feel that this breed would be a great addition to our family! Our daughter has a friend who has a corgi and loves hearing stories about his dog. We enjoy energetic and active dogs since that is the lifestyle we lead.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Play with him/her everyday and go for long walks in our neighborhood which has a wooded area that's perfect for exploring with our corgi. Also, go for car rides when running errands, etc…

Vet contact info:

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Depends on the mistake… there are a lot of different ways to handle unwanted behaviors. Most of the time distraction with a toy works or simply saying no and redirecting his/her behavior.

Discipline:
I would take our dog to obedience training and hopefully correct some bad habits the dog may have picked up along the way. We don't ever hit or spank a dog, just like we wouldn't do to a child. You have to teach him/her what is acceptable behavior.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
