Who is this dog for?

My name is Victoria. My fiance Luke and I are wanting to add a corgi to our family. Just us and our 3 friendly cats.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We have been wanting to add a dog to our family for a while but took some time to do our research. We dont want to get a dog for the wrong reasons. We want to make sure we get a dog that will fit into our lifestyle so that we can give it the best life possible! Looking for a friendly loving companion. We decided we want a corgi because of the size and general temperament of the breed. The fact that they are generally so smart and loving and friendly was a big draw for us. I have some friends that own corgis and they are all just wonderful. We own our home and have about 2 acres of land so a large dog wouldnt be ideal for us. Our home provides enough space for a medium sized dog to do whatever they want whether they choose to play outside or prefer staying inside more.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We have friends with dogs so we will probably take them to the park together. We want to include our dog in as much of our life as they want to share. Relaxing on the couch and cuddling on occasion and going on walks and playing in the yard.
