Who is this dog for?

Myself and my significant. We had a Pembroke for 11 years, lost him to lymphoma One and a half years ago. I have also trained numerous corgis over the years. Fell in love with their personality.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have been training dogs for 30 yrs. Have always been drawn to the Corgi breed because of their spunk and great personality. Finally got a puppy from a local breeder. Lost him to lymphoma at 11 yrs.
Was thinking about a puppy and then decided to see if adoption was a possibility.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Everything!! I have the advantage of being able to take my dogs to work everyday, as I own a daycare, training and grooming business. We do basic obedience through positive reinforcement, advance training and agility.

Not always. I work 4 days a week, 5 hours a day. My dogs go to work with me.

At first, probably in a crate. After they’re acclimated, in the kitchen.

In my room with me and his “brother and sister”.

I own a horse, so I have access to acres to run, restrained and supervised, at first, of course, until they’re trained. I also walk them in the neighborhood.
