Who is this dog for?

Retired couple who have always loved and cared for dogs for over 46 years. Recently lost our West Highland Terrier named Dublin. Live in a Del Webb Shorewood Glen over 55 community with many walking trails. Will provide love and security for all needs of the Corgi. We have a granddaughter 8 years old who has a Portuguese Water Dog and a son with a Shepard mix rescue. Both of our children have large yards and love and respect dogs. This would be our first rescue but due to our age a perfect fit. Many in our community have been satisfied with this choice.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
Being brought up in Chicago yearly attended the dog show. That was where I was first introduced to the breed and was one of my favorite. Being Irish ☘️ and a bit of English family members were owners so I interacted frequently with breed. Always love look and temperament. I do know of one owner in my area. My first dog as a child was a Collie female named Lassie. My brother and uncle had Shelties. After marriage we had two Westie’s and German Shepard, Belgium Sheep dog, and Golden Retriever.
