Who is this dog for?

It would be for my boyfriend Branden and I.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We LOVE the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed so much! They are adorable and so friendly. We have met a few of them in our past and they have been nothing but friendly and affectionate. We have started our research on the breed and we think they will be a good fit with our current dog and our lifestyle. We are more than willing to give our dog love and affection.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We would love to take him for walks, set up a little dog play area in our fenced backyard for our corgi and our dog Gabbie to just play and run around. We also take frequent trips up north in the summer and we would love to take them with us to run around and go in the lake and for boat rides.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
We would calmly tell them no and encourage when they do not make mistakes with love and treats. We would never yell at our Pembroke or Gabbie. Yelling does not solve the problem and only confuses the dog.

Discipline:
We use a firm tone with our dog. We never yell at her.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
He would be spending most of his time with our other dog Gabbie. Someone is almost always home with the dog. If there is ever a time where we can't be home or there is a time we will be away from the house for a long time then we will take Gabbie and our Pembroke to my boyfriend parents house. They have had dogs their entire life and the also have a dog of their own.
