Why do you want a Pembroke?
 Love the looks and attitude of the breed. We are couch potatoes and very active. Our last dog was a very active Border Collie who declined in activity over time. A corgi has a similar look but smaller in size which is ideal for our household. Our Border Collie was mute and we would like a bit more of a dog alarm.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Walking and yard work. Training and regular dog tricks. No heavy hiking or walking in heavily wooded areas.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		Positive reinforcement. Accidents will happen and screaming yelling is not the best way to train a dog. Give rewards for actions that lead to the result you want. Give treats for alerting or showing the need to use the potty and treats for using potty outside. Wean away from treats after a time.
