Who is this dog for?

 Our family, and 12 year old son, Carson who would like a Pembroke Welsh Corgi for our next dog. We had an Australian Cattle Dog for 14 years previously and have gone a couple of years without a dog. I think we would like a young male Corgi. We would also be interested in information on good breeders in Wisconsin if there are any litters coming up that you may know of.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 Son Carson: Likes that the dog is not that big, and it's soft. It would teach responsibility. Would be active with the dog. He said he has done research on the breed. He said he has seen a Corgi, and thought that it interacted well with kids and adults..

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Son Carson: Would take it to the park, walks, camping, swimming. We have a 4 acre yard for it to run, and chase a ball.

 Again, the firm voice and direct them to the behavior you want. Most the bad behavior is from the owners not training them, and giving the correct reinforcements for good behavior. Owners really need to spend the time training.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
 When the family is home, the dog would spend the time with us in the house. We would have a crate for at night, and if we were to leave for shorter periods of time.
