Who is this dog for?

 The Pembroke is for our family. I have two daughters, ages 15 & 13.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 My daughters and I love the breed and we've done extensive research. We love that Corgis are intelligent and like to snuggle.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 We have a fenced-in backyard and look forward to throwing tennis balls for the Corgi to chase. We also live on a court so the dog won't be exposed to a lot of traffic. We will take the dogs for walks before school and after school. I will hire a dog walker to take him/her out during the day and play for a while.

 I would immediately correct the corgi's behavior so he/she knows what isn't appropriate and what is acceptable.

 The corgi would spend most of his/her time in the house during the school year but will have ample opportunities to play outside before and after school, on the weekends and in the summer.

 Unfortunately, there are no people home during the day at our house. We work outside of the home and my daughters go to school — Jr. High and High School.

 We will take him/her for walks before and after school and will play with him/her after school and on the weekends — more so in the summer months.
