| Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions | |||||||
|
Who is this dog for? |
Myself | ||||||
Why do you want a Pembroke? |
I'm personally looking for a dog that is going to stick by my side no matter what. I had this with my beagle until she passed and I saw a lot of physical similarities between them. I have hung around corgis here and there, but never owned one myself. I love the active and very affectionate lifestyle they require. I need a dog that is going to be able to keep up with me and still let me love them at the same time. Their adorable floof and sploots are just a bonus.
Activities planned with Pembroke: |
I want to go on tons of walks, runs, and adventures with my Pembroke. I want a dog that will not tire easily as I love to go on hikes and just walk long distances. I want a smaller yet still active dog to make these adventures more fun.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: |
For potty mistakes, I would just ignore the mistake and reward greatly when she does what I wanted. I would ignore any self rewarding behavior as it worked for my beagle .
Discipline: |
With my beagle, I would either take away her toys or place her in a quiet room, such as the bathroom, for 15 minutes.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time: |
Most of the time she would be with me on my runs and trips. When she isn't, she would be at my home with my mother and father as I live with them.
