Who is this dog for?

 Us! Two mid twenties adults that live in Lakeview by the Southport corridor. Both grew up with dogs and love Corgi's.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We've never had a corgi to be honest. I grew up with a fox terrier that loved to run / and play. Kim has had 2 Shepards. We were told by our landlord that our dog had to be under 40 Lbs and not aggressive. In research we found that Corgi's are active and smart. Kim does yoga and loves to run outdoors, while I like to walk. We figured a corgi could keep up with us and also snuggle up on the couch.

Long story short Corgi's look fun active and smart while not being too big which sounds perfect for us. Additionally we want to adopt, not looking for a breeder.


Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Run and yoga with Kim, walks and basketball with me. We're also huge fans of lake days at the park south of the golf course on lake Michigan. That is actually my favorite place in all of Chicago. We're there at least once or twice a week when it's warm.
