Who is this dog for?

We would like to rescue a Pembroke corgi to be part of our family. We do not have children, we own one cat. We want to give a new pet a happy, well-balanced life that includes lots of exercise, play, adventures, mental stimulation, and nutrition.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
A friend of mine had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Scooter. He was active, smart, playful, and loyal. I loved the bond that my friend had with Scooter which developed from daily walks, playing, and adventures. Wherever my friend went-Scooter went. I want to make a commitment to a future pet and work to build a similar bond.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Daily exercise, hikes, fetch, swimming and obedience classes. This dog will travel with me to visit family in WI.
