Who is this dog for?

The family.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We rescued our previous Cardigan corgi who was 2 years old(?) when we got her. I/we love her and miss her. She was such a good dog and a wonderful addition to our family. I had a great experience with her breed. We had her for 7 wonderful years and 4 months. Yes I’ve done a lot of research on the breed. I know firsthand that they shed like crazy and they are herding dogs. Our Cardigan was not a barker.

Positive reinforcement, treats, consistency, routine

Discipline:
Talking in a stricter voice and saying no. Consistent behavior to not confuse the dog as to what is expected of the dog. I never had trouble using this method with my previous 2 dogs. Positive reinforcement, treats and love.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Probable the kitchen and family room where we spend our majority of the time. Run of the house. Dog beds scattered in different rooms.
