Who is this dog for?

It is for me. I love corgis and dogs in general.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
Even though this would be my first dog as an adult I have dog-sitting many friends and co-workers' dogs over the past several years. I love corgis' smiles, their playfulness and their activity needs. I have dog sat a corgi for a long weekend and I always ask people about their corgi when I run into them. Yes, I've done extensive research on many dog breeds, especially the corgi.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I love to go for walks so I dream of having a lovely dog to go with me. I would also play with my corgi with balls & toys and also challenges with puzzles and things that to keep him/her active mentally. I would brush them and keep them healthy by taking them to the vet on sche& groomer on schedule. I would teach them tricks – I used to be a preschool teacher, I am very patient! We will cuddle and go on adventures (long walks to new places). Feed her healthy food & cook her chicken livers. I eat really healthy and I maintain a very healthy lifestyle for myself. Also, find her a friend or two to play with often.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:

Discipline:
Eye contact and postive reinforcement through attention and occasional treats.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Out on walks with me and inside my apartment with me.
