Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for? |
For Perri & Andrew | ||||||
Why do you want a Pembroke? |
I think Corgis are the cutest pups on the planet-I love their round bums and stumpy legs. It has always been our plan to have one Australian Shepard and one Corgi and so we are working towards this goal. We have several acquaintances who have Corgis so we are aware that they are active (and sometimes quite vocal). As owners of a fairly headstrong dog, we are not afraid of a little personality.
Activities planned with Pembroke: |
We will take our Corgi on long walks with our Australian Shepard and also go to the dog park down the block from us. Our Australian has a lot of energy and requires a lot of attention and brain games, so we are prepared and excited to do the same with our Corgi. Andrew works from home so the dogs would not often be alone by themselves. A lot of breweries and cafes are dog friendly in the Twin Cities (where we live) so we will definitely be taking our dogs with us when we attend such establishments on the weekends from time to time. We often go hiking on the weekends (a very dog friendly outing) – we are generally pretty active people. We don’t have kids, so a lot of our energy and attention is directed towards our current (and future) dog.
