Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for? |
Me | ||||||
Why do you want a Pembroke? |
I like that this breed does well with kids and cats usually! This is important to me if I someday plan to have children. I also have a cat right now. I like that they tend to be affectionate and are very loyal/smart. I am very social and it seems that is an important part of helping a corgi be succesful–to be socialized often! I love spending time with family and friends so a PWC seems to be a great dog for that, too.
Activities planned with Pembroke: |
I have a fenced in yard so playing outside every day would be a big part of our life. I also have wonderful walking paths that I would take the dog on for long walks at least once a day. I would love to bring him/her to breweries/other social places. If needed, I would take him/her to training classes. I would want to find ways to socialize him/her with other dogs like random doggy daycare days or puppy playdates. I plan to take this dog pretty much everywhere I'm allowed to 🙂

||||||
Discipline: |
– positive reinforcement – direct "no" but not yelling or angry – If jumping, turning away/ignoring until done jumping |
