Who is this dog for?

David LaPratt

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I love the way corgis show there love. My roommates corgi mix Honey cuddles up to me all the time, she gives me lots of licks and love. She loves going for walks and once warms up to dogs she gives them lots of love too. I had always wanted a corgi and after meeting Honey she’s furthered my love and appreciation for the breed.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Go for walks, go to dog parks, keep them active if needed, but also spend time at home and give lots of love and cuddles.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Calmly show them the correct way of doing said option and encourage them to keep trying the correct way.

Discipline:
No harsh physical contact, it can make them scared, I’d call them over and lightly scold them for their behavior and encourage not doing it again.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
If available I will be training them enough to be able to handle the short amount of time I’d be at work out of a kennel, allowed to roam inside while I’m gone, while I’m home I would love to take them on lots of walks as the area nearby is amazing.

Where would dog sleep:
Adopted corgi will get the option of a dog bed, kennel, or if a lover they can sleep with me as I love cuddling dogs. But I will make sure they get many sleeping options.
