Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I love that a Pembroke is essentially a big dog on short legs. Having grown up with border collies I appreciate the herding dog's independence and spiritedness. In my experiences with the breed they have been fun-loving and playful, and usually a bit stubborn.
In my research I also realize that they can be high shedding. Luckily neither my husband nor I have allergies. I also understand they can be watch dogs prone to barking but we hope with proper training and attention we can avoid any issue with this.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 We would love to take our Pembroke on walks in the neighborhood, hikes, and to parks with us. We also look forward to hanging out with our Pembroke at home outside and playing with him or her.
