Myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have owned two male corgis, one 14 years and one 12years.I love their ears, their butts, their brains and they have brought me so much joy and I lose my best friend when it God calls. I am a quiet person and chat with my dog and I love how they
tilt their head like they understand. I also love they have to get the last word in.
I call it corgi attitude. I basically can't think of a thing I don't police other than
Maybe a bath in the tub but once out they do a shame and grin. Yes, I am a total
Sucker and I admit it…I love them…Big dog in a small body.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Walk daily even in the snow. Go to the dog park which is a private 25 acre fenced
area. The dogs are unleashed and there
is a pond. I do live in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor with a fenced porch. I am surrounded by woods so often I walk there. I do have 16 steps so t he dog would need to be able to go
Up steps. I always drive with my dog unless it is a long time or too hot in the car

Discipline:
Basically as above. I never have been taught crate training or other types but I am certainly willing to learn a better method. I had a military father with. A real pound and strict manner so I admit to being soft gentle and patient. I also will use treats if I have to give capsules so it's not so bad

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
With me in the apartment
