Who is this dog for?

This is for me and my Fiance! We are looking to be put on waiting lists for a corgi as they are our favorite dogs and we are hoping to buy a house in the next year of so!

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We love how lovable, family friendly and cute they are! Whenever I see them on our properties or in dog parks they are always so happy and excited to see other dogs and humans. I can honestly say I havent done extensive research on the breed but I do know that with their height and length that back issues can be a problem later in life but I do all I can for my animals and always keep up with any health issues!

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I would love to take a dog on walks, dog parks, go swimmin when camping or at my dads lake, when we get a yard I would love to hang out outside with them and spend family time with them once we have children.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
If the dog makes a mistake I will use positive reinforcement when they do the correct thing. Dogs make mistakes and I would never yell at a dog for doing so. A strong voice and showing what the correct thing to do is will change the behavior.

Discipline:
I would like to use positive reinforcement. Get them to know what is the right thing to do by showing then praise when it is done correctly.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
In our apartment for now and then home but will come with us on weekends to visit family and friends.
