Who is this dog for?

Myself and my fiance as a member of our family

Why do you want a Pembroke?
As a high schooler I have dog sat for someone with a corgi as well as a mini aussie and the two were always a delight. The corgi, Carter, I easily fell in love with for his playful demeanor but more relaxed style. I always felt sad because he was living with his owner's parents at the time as his owner was in the military. Every night he would go down to his owner's room to sleep. The loyalty was also probably an appeal to him as well.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
My corgi will have two cousins to play with every week as my sister has two dogs of her own. We'll also go for walks, play in the yard and relax on the couch watching tv.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Saying no, bad dog, or perhaps witholding an object the dog would want or perhaps using a noise maker. Never harming the dog.

Discipline:
Preferably positive reinforcement and treats when doing something positive and withholding those treats when the dog does something that isn't good.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Around the house with myself or my fiance. One of us is typically home and we usually go to pet friendly homes
