Who is this dog for?

This is for both of us to add to our home. We currently have a mixed breed dog who is 9 years old and lost his sister 2 years ago.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
My wife grew up around horses and she has always had a herding dog but never a Corgi and she has always wanted one. I am a dog lover and have always thought Corgi's were extremely cute and all of them i have met have had great personalities and were playful. And i think one would make a great sister and playmate to our current dog who gets bored being alone. My wife has done extensive research on Corgi's.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Walks, runs, playing in our large backyard. Taking her to my in-laws who live on 40 acres and have horses and letting her run around and play. Take her camping with us several times a year and also to the lake when we go.
