Who is this dog for?

 For both of us. Jesse really wants a corgi specifically and I want any smaller breed.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 Jesse loves corgis very much. One of my close friends has 2 corgis and she has informed me of the medical care costs and common breed traits. We both feel being full time pharmacists that we are comfortable with the medical care level. We are also open to learning more about them if the Lakeshore Corgis has any training materials to share.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 We have a dog play park in our apartment building. They could go off leash inside the fence and play with other dogs. We also would do morning and evening walks. Mostly want a couch buddy and someone to cuddle.

 I like to use treats to train behaviors and withhold the treat until they behave appropriately.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
 In our apartment. Only the bedroom is carpeted, so if both work the same time, he/she could roam the kitchen and living room freely on the hard wood floor.

 It depends. We both work rotating shifts so usually either Jesse or I will be home most days.

 In the kitchen we have a spot for dog bowls on the hard wood floors.

 Either in our bed with the humans, or on a dog bed on the floor, depending on their comfort level.

Play & exercise:
 Our apartment has the doggy play park area where he/she can run off leash. We also have corgi neighbors in our building who might be available for play dates.
