Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We owned a Corgi mix several years ago. We have done some reading about the pure breed Corgi's and they have the following traits we are looking for in a dog: intelligence, loyal and affectionate. I understand they are one of the top dogs who do well with older people, are seldom quarrelsome and are good watch dogs. Since we are both in our 70's all these traits are important to us.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Walking, playing ball or whatever toys she would like to chase. Our condo has a large basement where we could play with her. We live on the first floor in a ranch style condo and have easy access to the outside to walk with her.
