Who is this dog for?

 I am looking to adopt a corgi for myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I have always had a soft spot for corgis and from my research they are independent dogs that can be very affectionate. From my interactions they are very loyal dogs that would make a great companion.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 I would love to take the dog on walks, spend afternoons at the park, cuddle on the couch, and when I take car trip to visit family, bring him/her with me.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		If the dog was acting out and had a lot of energy I would try to take him/her outside for a nice walk/jog, if it needed something to play with redirect him/her to an appropriate toy (and remove what it wasn't suppose to be playing with), and in other cases be firm but gentle when giving simple commands.

Avoid giving affection/petting when misbehaving
Use something to get attention before correcting like whistling, clapping, gentle tug on leash, but never yelling or hitting

 My family's dogs eat Acana and that seems to be what their vets recommend but I would want to know what food the dog currently eats.

 Depending on what the dog currently uses to sleep either a dog bed or a crate

Play & exercise:
 I would allow the dog to have plenty of safe toys to play with at home, even with me. I would take the dog on multiple daytime walks, to the park on weekends and occasionally after work, and would want to have him/her visit doggy daycare at least once or twice a week while I am at work so that he or she could socialize and get plenty of exercise.
