Other preferences:
We are looking for a pup to add to our home that will feel comfortable in our smaller apartment space but will enjoy frequent walks and hikes that we enjoy going on as well! One of us does have allergies to some different types of dog breeds (for example is more allergic to some hypoallergenic dog breeds compared to a certain non-hypoallergenic breed). Allergies seem to be more well managed than ever with certain regular medications and air purifiers/filters. We plan to keep one room dog free as to help with this as well. It will be important for us to spend a bit of time with the dog to see if there will be a reaction and at what level.

Who is this dog for?

Our family (Marisa and Ben, as listed above)

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We have had limited experience with the breed, but have met friends with the breed whom we have enjoyed. We are aware of the fact that these dogs were originally herders. This has reassured us that our dog will enjoy being active in the outdoors with us. We want a dog that will be affectionate and enjoy cuddling but be ready to go on an adventure with us as well.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We would love indoor play spoiling our pup with toys as well as frequent walks outdoors, and hopefully even winter hikes as we approach the cold season! Our families both have smaller dogs, one of which that is high energy that we would love to socialize our dog with as appropriate.
