Who is this dog for?

 Family dog for my wife and I. She is retired (age 60) while I still have a few more years ahead of me. We have a "granddog" – my stepdaughter's Bichon Frise rescue dog – who is living with us now., although we know he will eventually be moving out.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I have long admired the Corgi and love it's active, affectionate nature. While I prefer small dogs to larger breeds, I like being able to take long walks and like a small dog that can keep pace and enjoys long walks.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Walking, gardening, occasional trips to the dog park.
