Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for? |
The Pembroke is for Mary Kreiter
Why do you want a Pembroke? |
I love corgis as my daughter's friends had them and used to enter them in agility events which we all used to go to. I have also researched them, but when I see them, it always puts a smile on my face.
Activities planned with Pembroke: |
I would take her on walks in the neighborhood and play with her. I have a large basket of toys and I hope she would like them. I just like to be with them.
Aware that Pembrokes are busy, noisy dogs? |
Yes | ||||||
Money for basic care? |

Yes Willing to do formal training? Yes |
||||||

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: |
If the dog had an accident (wet), I would take her outside, then clean it up. If she pooped, I would take it and her outside and stay with her. I would also note when she was apt to need to go outside and take her out.
Discipline: |
If she were chewing on something that was not hers, I would take it away from her and give her a chew toy that belonged to her. If she were barking, I would tell her "no" and try to distract her. |
||||||
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time: |
The Pembroke would spend most of her time with me. That is why I have two LL Bean beds, one on the first floor in the living room and one upstairs in my bedroom. I also have smaller beds in the kitchen, porch and even outside in the gazebo. I also take her with me in the car when the temperature is right. I have a pad in the back seat and a medal barrier that keeps her from getting in the front seat. I also have a seat belt for her. |
