Why do you want a Pembroke?	I had two previous full breed corgis: first one was a female; she passed away about 8 years ago from the poisoned dog food episode; Precious was only 7 years old when she passed because her kidneys shut down. It was heartbreaking. My second full breed corgi (Ginger) had developed a very large tumor on her underside and after testing discovered she had a malignant tumor! I was devastated when she had to be put down. I loved both my corgis so much. They are absolutely adorable, lovable, dedicated and provides much entertainment at times! Very smart dogs! Now I'm an empty nester and need a companion again!
Activities planned with Pembroke:	I would take the dog for long walks at my mother's farm or go to the dog park locally, go for rides in my car, pretty much it would go with me everywhere. I would like to play with it, hoping all the saved dog toys are good enough!

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:	I would teach it that they can't make a mistake by being patient when teaching. I would never use strong measures like hitting or spanking.

People at home during the day?	I'm pretty much retired and will be home with the dog. My son lives in a coach house behind my house, and he would be available to care for her if I have to be away to play funerals or church services.
Where would dog eat?	There is a food/water bowl in the kitchen.
Where would dog sleep:	Hopefully with me in my bed! Or I have several good quality dog beds and one would be situated at the foot of my bed.
Play & exercise:	I would take it to our local dog park or I would walk it frequently at the local outdoor walking paths at the park district, and I would also like to take it to a dog swimming pool. All of these would be frequent.
