Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We want to adopt a Pembroke Welsh Corgi because we think it would be the perfect breed to fit our current life phase and our overall lifestyle. We lead an active lifestyle, and enjoy lots of time outdoors. We do not have an extremely large home, so we prefer a medium-small size dog. We love how smart, playful, and affectionate corgis can be. We hope to have children within the next year, which is another reason we are attracted to the corgi breed. I have done research on the breed, and I am aware of grooming needs, potential health issues, and their tendency to be vocal.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Playing with toys, hikes, trips to a fenced in dog park, potential occasional doggy day care for socialization with other dogs, road trips, etc.

 The corgi would be at home alone for approximately six hours per day while we work, but would be let out and have interaction with Evan in the middle of the day.

 Larger front yard with a slightly smaller back yard. There are no relevant fixtures, and the lot is well enclosed with trees and shrubbery. While we cannot have a privacy fence due to city ordinances, we intent to either place a smaller decorative fence, or an electric fence down line.
