Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I have done a good amount of research on the breed. I've always wanted a Corgi because not only are they unquestionably adorable , but a very versatile and friendly breed. They can be active and alert guard dogs, but when the work day is over they can be loving lap dogs who love to cuddle. I live in an apartment so they would be perfect size as well. I know that Corgi's tend to bark, but I hope my friend and I would establish a stable training relationship where they would not be a bother to the neighbors and get my attention in other manners.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 I would love to take long walks and hike with my Corgi friend. There are a few dog parks around to throw a ball and run around together. Given that a Corgi from Lakeshore is undoubtedly well-mannered, if they are comfortable, they can have play dates with some of my friends' dogs, so they will be well socialized.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		I would use calm assertion to ensure the Corgi understands what they did was wrong, but is not scared or overwhelmed. After a few minutes of a serious demeanor with a stern voice, I would give affection to let them know I still love them.
