Who is this dog for?

Both applicants.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have always dreamed of owning a corgi. Growing up my mom didn’t allow dogs, but my friend had a corgi and it was just love.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We live in an area with lots of walking paths and dog parks, so getting outside would be a must. Our upstairs roommates and family also have pups, so hopefully some play dates!

Aware that Pembrokes are busy, noisy dogs?
Yes

Money for basic care?

Yes

Money for unforeseen medical expenses?
Yes

Willing to house train?
Yes
Willing to do formal training? Yes

Do you have a veterinarian?

Yes

Vet contact info:
{If yes, please provide contact information including the vet’s name, clinic name, street address, city, state, zip, and phone. Also include the website if there is one.:52}

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
It depends on what it is. I have never believed that yelling has ever made a difference. I don’t want them to be afraid of me because I reacted inappropriately to an accident.

Discipline:
I think that crate timeouts for major misbehavior is appropriate.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
We have our own private level of a townhouse, so while we were at work they would have the whole area to themselves. Seth would be able to do walks/toileting before work and during his lunch break. I would be able to do so once I am off work.
