Why do you want a Pembroke?
We would love to own a corgi! They are a adorable and a perfect size for a condo. We love how intelligent and loyal they are.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We live in front of Lincoln Park zoo and the park/lake path, so we would take our corgi on daily walks through the park and along Lake Michigan. We would also take our corgi to the nearby dog park and dog beach in the summer, as well as weekly puppy classes to make sure the corgi was well trained and adjusted. Since Jean is a homemaker, she would spend the day with her corgi and make sure he was always stimulated and loved!

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
We would use positive reenforcement training to correct the behavior, as well as crate training for a short time out. We would enroll our dog in formal, weekly dog training to help with training and adjustment.

Discipline:
We would crate train and use consistent, positive reenforcement training. For example, put the dog in a short time out. We would not use any sort of aggressive or physical training or yell at the dog, as we wouldn't want to make the dog scared or aggressive.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
At his condo with Jean, who would be with the corgi all day and take him on adventures!
