Who is this dog for?

My family. We are a family of three. Mom, Dad and a girl who turns 6 on 6/18/2021.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
Corgis are a breed that I've loved from afar for MANY years. Their friendly, outgoing personalities are a major draw for me. I love they they are playful and active and I also think they are a great size. My daughter is very interested in a playful dog as well. I also like that they are intelligent and train-able we would definitely have some rules for the Corgi to follow and training would be important to us (not jumping on visitors, staying off of certain furniture, listening to commands – not bolting into traffic…)

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Walks, jogging (maybe? if appropriate?). I run 2x a week and could definitely give the Corgi great exercise. We have a great front and back yard where we could play fetch and just generally chase and play with the corgi as well.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Inside the house with us – in the family room while we play games, watch TV. I work from home so the dog could be in my home office with me as well.
