Myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have always thought that the breed was super cute. Recently I dog sat for a family with a Pembroke and fell even more in love with the breed. I have done my research on the breed and I am no rookie to owning pets.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I plan on taking my dog anywhere I can with me. This would include travel and hiking. I’m not a long distance hiker but I do like to adventure and I’d like to have a furry companion by my side.

Aware that Pembrokes are busy, noisy dogs?

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
This is a very broad question. What kind of mistake?

Discipline:
I’ve learned that you really need to use positive reinforcement to get a dog to understand what they need to do. Although us pet owners love to believe our pets are human their are different ways to handle when an animal does something wrong. Instead of really punishing the dog I feel that redirection is a better way to handle things.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
most of the time my Pembroke would be with me at my home, their may be an occasion that I stay at a friends and they come stay with me there.

People at home during the day?
In the morning my family is home. My dad is home most of the time. With my nannying hours I would only be gone till mid afternoon and then I’m home for the rest of the evening.

Where would dog eat?
In the kitchen. I have an area in my kitchen that spacious that my other pets eat.

Where would dog sleep:
Either in my bed with me or in my room in a bed if that’s what they choose.

Play & exercise:
We have a big yard, it is not fenced in but with a lead my corgi could be out there. Also as I mentioned earlier I do plan to take the corgi with me when I do adventure, plus we can go on regular walks.
