Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I love that they are highly intelligent herding dog. I love that bearding dogs require mental stimulation to stay satisfied. I love that they are outgoing and eager to please so long as you respect their individual personality. I myself feel kindred to the corgi because we both feel like big dogs on little legs!

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Hiking, camping, and laying on the couch. Ideally I would love to get my corgi certified as a therapy dog. I'm specializing in elder law and I would love to have a corgi as my partner in crime at work and in nursing home and assisted living facilities where I meet with clients.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		With calm guidance and cues the dog can understand. Dogs respond well to aloofness, not giving them attention when it is trying to get a reaction, or noise like a yell if the dog nips of hurts you.

 Discipline is a misleading word. Guidance and positive/neutral reinforcements sends a strong enough message that a dog can understand when it's human is not happy via calm cues that do not involve screaming and shame.

 At home with me or my partner. Our class/work schedules are staggered so one of us is home 23 hours a day.

 In our home office, where Penny eats in the kitchen. We like to keep dogs separate when they eat just to given them a chance to chill out and enjoy their meal.

Where would dog sleep:
 In a cage/bed in our room. Bed will not be an option because the is too small and could possibly hurt itself jumping off a bed. I'd rather avoid the issue of jumping off the bed completely.

Play & exercise:
 We like to run our dogs every night off the leash to get their zoomies out. My partner makes sure to walk Penny at least 10,000 (human) steps a day outside no matter the weather.
