Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We had two Pembroke Welsh Corgis for a total of 24 years. Our first Corgi was from Lakeshore Corgi club bleeder. Both lived till 14-15 years old. We always love the breed. They fit our lifestyle perfectly with the amount of exercise required and condo living. They are also very smart and highly trainable. We simply love them.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Everything possible! We are full time at home and empty nesters. Daily walks, cycling, shopping, travel. Our daughter who is an adult now and grew up with our corgis can serve as experienced dog sitter when we are out of town. (Although we will travel with our corgi whenever possible. ). We are in our early 50s. We are still quite active and enjoy moderate exercises.

 We don’t discipline our dogs other than using a stern voice and body language.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
 Hanging out with us. We walk or run about 2 miles everyday. Bike almost every weekend when weather allows. We go to the park all the time. We are full time at home. Ivan is a home maker and Regina works from home.

 Quality dog food. I think raw food by certified maker is very “in” these days. Combined w dry food and supplement.

 His or own bed. By our bed. Our corgis don’t sleep with us in the bed but by the bed.

 Corgi will go out with us for walks. There is a dog park downstairs by our condo and other parks in our area. There are dog carriers that can be connected to our bike for weekly ride along bike path by our condo.
