Who is this dog for?

Alysa Osmonson and Nathan Jorandby.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have been in love with this breed since I was a little girl. I love the personality of corgis and there size. I knew when I became and adult I would want to adopt a corgi once I was in a stable place in life. I have researched the breed a decent amount but have started to dive deeper now that I am looking for a corgi of my own. I love that corgis are a smaller/medium size breed that stays active and loves going on walks.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I love going on walks and can't wait to have a little walking partner. My community has many dog parks that I would love to explore and even an indoor dog obstacle park. I would take my little corgi everywhere I go including visiting family and weekend trips! I want a buddy that will go with me everywhere I go.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Mistakes happen with all dogs and all humans. If a mistake is made we work to fix it with training. I don't believe in ever using violence as discipline as it is harmful and abusive to the dog and the relationship you build with them.

Discipline:
I personally like using a clicker and voice commands for training. If a dog is good motivated I think treats are a great tool to help train your dog. Training is all about finding what motivates your dog and what the respond to. Every dog is an individual and will train different than other dogs.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
She would spend most of her day with me as I make my own hours and work for myself. This allows me to take my doggo with me when I run errands and make deliveries. If she ever couldn't be with me she would be with my partner Nate as he can't wait to be a dog dad!
